Paint Shop Pro!
My sister Juli just came back from college for fall break! We've really missed her. And guess what? She came back with a free thirty-day trial of Ultimate Paint Shop Pro on her laptop! I'm trying to take advantage of the program so I can make as many wonderful LotR fan art wallpapers before she leaves for college again and takes the program with her.
It's so fun having Juli back at home. It was always so quiet without her. I'm not super-quiet, but I'm not as locquacious as she is, either. So I think I'll really, really miss her when she goes off again. She'll be back in December for a FIVE-WEEK Christmas break, and I can't wait for that!

Yay for My Sister!
Yay for my sister! She's got a new Xanga blog at NiennaCelebrindal. Please visit her blog! She's in college now, so she blogs about her school and her having fun and so forth. She's an avid LotR fan like me, so of course she's got all sorts of videos related to LotR (particularly Arwen and Boromir) as well as Enya. She will have some pictures coming up, too!

Wallpapers Galore!
Yes, I've been unbelievably busy with everything. I'm preparing for the big solo vocal concert on July 29th--which happens to be this Wednesday--and I've been writing and making wallpapers for my new pink XPS laptop as well. That's actually why I came on to write a new entry: I've been making new LotR-themed wallpapers, not just computer-sized, but also laptop-sized! My sister and I have rediscovered Enya, the "famed one-woman choir" who sang the beautiful composition "May It Be" at the end of Fellowship of the Ring. We've burned every single CD album track of hers onto our computers, and we listen to every single one of them every single day! My favorite track of hers is "Pax Deorum" from The Memory of Trees. It's in Latin. In fact, it so inspired me that I'm writing my own New Age-style song in Latin, called "Nox." Then I'm going to do one in English called "Midnight Blue."
And the song that inspired me while I was writing my novel Song of Gor was her song "Sumiregusa," or "Wild Violet," which is in Japanese. She and her lyricist Roma Ryan are geniuses. Really.

A Miranda Otto Look-Alike!!!
Hi All!
So, I've abandoned my blog here for a while. It's time for a major comeback! Don't you think?
This is shocking news: I actually found a real Miranda Otto look-alike! Check out Alison Lohman's pics at NMDB and at Zimbio and at Zap2it. Now take a look at Miranda's pics at AskMen and at Council of Elrond and at Fantascienza. You'll be shocked by the likeness!
Of course, Alison Lohman is slightly younger than Miranda (she's only thirty years old), and Alison frequently dies her hair either blonde or brown, while Miranda keeps her hair auburn, but their eyes, eyebrows, lips, and face shapes are exactly the same.
